![]() Entrepreneurial culture was measured using entrepreneurial mindset, business startup motives and entrepreneurial orientation. Correlation coefficient was the parametric statistical tools used to test the association in the study. A sample of 203 students was randomly selected from the three schools in University of Cape Coast Ghana. This study examined the link between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial culture among university students in Ghana. There is an urgent need for young people to be trained and educated in the field of entrepreneurship especially university students. Therefore, for young people to escape the incidence of not getting employed after school, active intervention is necessary. Finally, the chapter offers some theoretical contributions by proposing directions for future research.Ĭurrently the Ghanaian economy's capacity to absorb new recruits into the formal sector has fallen. Fourth, it suggests establishing a conceptual basis around one previously proposed definition incorporating a notion of a social context that would enable IE scholarly community to set the objective criteria around opportunities and go beyond the legal entity of the focal firm and consider multiple actors, resources, processes, history, and context. Third, it describes the outcomes of this opportunities process. Second, it reveals the mechanism by which different actors discover, enact, evaluate, and exploit international opportunities. First, it outlines antecedents at three levels (individual, firm, and environmental) as driving aspects that lead to the international opportunity-related behavior. The present chapter aims to depict antecedents, mechanisms, and outcomes of this entrepreneurial behavior oriented to the pursuit of international opportunities and it offers directions for future research. ![]() Based on the clear emphasis on opportunity-focused behaviors, IE research has made progress and extended its domain and boundaries to an extent that the mechanisms operating throughout the international opportunity process can be described. ![]() International entrepreneurship (IE) research draws on the notion that internationalization is an entrepreneurial behavior oriented to the discovery, enactment, evaluation, and exploitation of opportunities across national borders to create value and get a competitive advantage. The researcher concludes by giving policy recommendations on possible solutions to youth unemployment. Whenever there is an increase in the government debt that deprives the youth, because there is no funding available for the government to invest in youth empowerment programmes. This means that youth unemployment is influenced by the inflation rate, Gross Domestic Product and the Total loan debt of the nation or government debt. The results of the econometric regression model indicated that the variables inflation rate, Gross value added a proxy for Gross Domestic Product and the Total loan debt of the nation were statistically significant at a 5% level of significance. An econometric regression model was conducted by the researcher in Eviews 8 a statistical data analysis software using time series data from the South African Reserve Bank, with youth unemployment being the dependent variable. The findings of the study indicate that the root causes of youth unemployment include the poor education system resulting in a skills-mismatch, a shift of the economy from being driven by primary sectors which are labour intensive towards Tertiary sectors which are skills intensive, geographic migration and trade unions bargaining for wage increases. The type of research methodology utilized by the researcher is a Quantitative research method. The researcher utilized secondary data obtained from the Quarterly Labour Force Survey by Statistics South Africa, time series data from the South African Reserve Bank and the Department of Higher Education and Training websites for conducting data analysis.
